Jeff Lewis

Jeff Lewis is starting his 25th year as a teacher and 2nd at Life School.  Lewis’ teaching career started at age 14 when his summer job was coaching and umpiring at the Elkhorn Rec Center in his hometown of Elkhorn WI.  Coach Lewis played 3 sports in High School, basketball, cross-country and golf.  He then furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside where he played baseball and golf.  Upon graduation from UW-P Lewis attended the Joe Brinkman umpire school which led to a successful 12 year run umpiring college and minor league baseball.  During his time umpiring and teaching Lewis continued his schooling, obtaining a Masters in Education from Azusa Pacific in 2000.  Coach Lewis is well traveled, he has taught in California, Oregon, Florida and Texas, most recently teaching at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth.

Coach Lewis is married to the former Miss Prentice Perkins who was a National Champion and Big West Scholar Athlete of the Year at Long Beach State University.

The Lewis’s live in Midlothian and have 1 child, a daughter, Landry who is 5.
