About ME:

I am super excited to join the Life Middle School team! This school year marks my 11th year in education during which I have been a substitute, a special education paraprofessional, a special education teacher, and ARD Facilitator and a Diagnostician. Now, as Assistant Principal, I am committed to learning, listening, and supporting the staff and students at LMSW to reach their fullest potential. I believe all children can learn but each learns in a different way and at a different rate.

I know that with grit, hard work and perseverance we can touch each child in a special way. Keeping the atmosphere positive and fun is the key to success, as well as, keeping the lines of communication open among staff, students, and parents. I am a firm believer in the idea that teamwork is the only way we effect positive change in the lives of the students we serve, and I am confident each student at LMSW will find both academic and personal successes this school year.

I truly have a love of learning. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the greatest HBCU in country, Prairie View A&M University. I earned a Master's in Educational Administration from LeTourneau University and a Master's in Special Education from Lamar University. I also hold certification from Dallas Baptist University as an Educational Diagnostician.

On a personal note, I am mom to Adyson, the most charismatic 10-year-old I know! In my free time, I enjoy working out, traveling and finding new restaurants to try.
